The trek itself was well organised and the trail well maintained. The designated camping zones were also of good quality. The porters were friendly. Overall this was a fantastic experience with breathtaking views. The small group sizes with excellent  guides made it all the better.

The guide was very good, patient and fried very much to transfer his own knowledge to guests – GOOD JOB!! The food was of high quality, especially considering the difficult cooking-circumstances. We really enjoyed the variety of (Andean) food. The equipment was good, too.

Todo muy bien – comida rica, guias muy profesionales y responsables. El camino era bonito, y cuando fue dificil, los guias ayudaron muchisimo. Estoy muy contenta todo la experiencia. El grupo era muy bien, todas muy simpaticos. Tuvimos suerte, no habia lluvia y no demasiado sol tampoco. Las tiendas eran buenas, mis bastones alquilados tambien.

The guide was very good and told us a lot about the nature and the culture. The cook was the best – we had great meals! There was always enough food! The other guys always helped him and were very friendly.

I came to Peru knowing very little about your culture and I’m leaving this place fully in love with Peru, its people, and its   history. I cannot write enough positive things about this trek, it’s organization, and mostly our Guide, Freddie. It seems such an understatement to say that Freedie went above and beyond to give us an exciting experience. As organized as this Trek was Freddie’s experience and genuine passion for his job and the people that surround him was evident from the moment he introduced himself. Despite the circumstances surrounding our trip (rain, a mudslide, and no trains) Arroyo Inka Trail and Freddie made it a successful trek. Many other groups we met on the trail had problems or didn’t complete the trip due to poor planning. We had the experience of a lifetime and we owe it all to Arroyo Inka Trail and Freddie Zapata!

This trek was really well organized, we all felt every detail had been considered and felt very safe with Marie, who is extremely capable at her job. The choice of chef and mule driver was excellent. We encountered different obstacles along the way and our guide Marie was always able to give us the best choices and options. The entire experience was fantastic. The food was delicious and the scenery was beautiful. The trek was only difficult due to the fact that we were walking at a high altitude on the first day. All the tents were comfortable and the other equipment I rented worked well. Rossel, our guide, the horsemen and the cooks were all friendly and enjoyable to be around. I was amazed by how quickly we were able to change our plans, and how flexible the guides were in the situation. Thank you very Much!
